Jump on a board or in a boat and get out on the waters of the Nelson Haven!
Maybe you’re putting your newfound skills into practise after one of our learn to sail or learn to windsurf courses. Or, you’re an experienced sailor or windsurfer visiting Nelson and keen to get out on the sparkling sea. Either way, we’ve got numerous supervised hire sessions and programmes throughout the week:
- Mondays – Wāhine only! Women on the water, come and join us!
- Tuesdays – Twilight Series racing.
- Fridays – Foiling Fridays – supervised hire and support for windsurfers and wingfoilers (non-foilers also welcome)!
- Saturdays – Club racing – see programme
- Sundays – Supervised Hire 1-5pm.
Casual hire may also be available at other times, but is subject to availability and is strictly by arrangement only – I.e. don’t just turn up expecting to sail, because the boats might all be in use for coaching, or there might not be anyone here!
Sunday Supervised Hire will be promoted on the NYC Facebook Page , and the instructor in charge will have the Sailing School phone (+6422 439 0100) so you can book equipment.
